Appoinment Day

Please make sure the property is accessible on the day of your clean. If we are unable to gain access on the day, full payment will be required. 

Keys can be arranged to be left with your cleaner if you are not going to be home. We are happy for you to leave your keys in a “safe place” for us, however we cannot take responsibility if anything should happen to your property or key after we have returned the key. This will need to be agreed prior your appointment. 

We require suitable parking on arrival, if parking is unavailable/limited or parking permits are required please let us know prior to confirming your booking. If pay and display is required, this will be added to your invoice. 

Safety: 

We are happy to manoeuvre any light furnishings such as side tables, lamps, dining chairs etc however we are unable to move/lift heavier items such as wardrobes, sofas, beds etc. 

Please advice us in advance if any items/furniture are broken/damaged. We reserve the right to refuse to clean any items that we deem to be unsafe, damaged or broken. We are also not permitted to climb any higher than 2 steps on a standard ladder. 

In the unfortunate event that we should break or damage an item or furnishing, we will notify you immediately and document with photographs. Cleans by Mrs Finch is fully insured and hold public liability should items need replacing and or fixing. 

Payment: 

We accept same day payment by cash, bank transfer or standing order. 

Payments must be received on the same day as your clean to avoid paying late fees (an additional £2.50 per day until invoice is settled) 

Cancellations: 

Any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a 50% fee and any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at the full rate. 

(We will of course consider any exceptional circumstances) 

Please give at least 2 weeks notice if you are going to be away on holiday. We are able to still complete your clean if a key is left or prior arrangement for someone else to let us in while you are away. 

In the unlikely event that we cannot fulfil your arranged appointment, we will endeavour to provide an alternate date/cleaner for you. If a standing order has already been received and we cannot provide you with an alternative date that suits you, we will return the money to your bank or provide you with a credit for your next scheduled clean. 

Should you no longer require our services, we require 2 weeks notice. If 2 weeks is not giving, the full amount of your last clean is due. 

Social media: 

Cleans by Mrs Finch love to take before and after pictures for our social media platforms. We will avoid capturing any personal details/photos. If you would prefer us not to take photos and share them please let us know. 

Cleans by Mrs Finch pride ourselves in offering the best possible service to our clients. If for any reason you are unhappy with any aspect of your clean, please let us know the same day as your appointment. 

Whilst we are unable to offer refunds, we are happy to arrange an appointment to resolve the issue.
